The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AB International Brokers, Miami (Aurora F. Goderich, president); Go Logistics Corp., Grapevine, Texas (Dennis Garcia, director); and Hans Transportation, Los Alamitos, Calif. (Wei Lin, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Almar Logistics, Miami (Alberto J. Marino Sr., managing member); Cacique Trading Corp., Miami (Alexandre Strohschein, president); and Caribbean Cargo Hub, Miami (Yosvany Acosta, manager).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license application from Broadview Cargo Solutions, Savannah, Ga. (David E. Ferencsik, manager); and Cargo Plus, Portsmouth, Va. (Juan A. Nunez Rodriguez, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Alliance Navigation, Jacksonville, Fla. (Shane Warren, chairman); AMC USA, New York (Eva M. Vallecillo, director of operations); Asiana Express (New York) Corp., Jamaica, N.Y. (Susan H. Paik-Kim, director); Elite International Corp., Glendale Heights, Ill. (Katherine M. Spencer, executive director); and Frontier North America, Itasca, Ill. (Lisa M. Bosques, vice president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
