The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 15 license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Global Wide Logistics, San Leandro, Calif. (Mohammad N. Karimi, president); Pim Global Logistics, Carson, Calif. (Kelvin Coze, president); Sea Star Line Caribbean, Jacksonville, Fla. (William F. Taylor, vice president); Sky Express World Courier, Los Angeles (Gyou H. Ahn, secretary); and Zoom Ocean Freight, Miami (Georgina Barona, manager).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Bisac Logistics, Medley, Fla. (Hugo E. Martinez, secretary); CMK Freight Forwarders, Lakeland, Fla. (Steven C. Pniewski, manager); and PAI Logis, College Park, Ga. (Jung Sik Kong, secretary).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Carlos A. Lastra Customhouse Broker, Miami (Carlos A. Lastra, president); and Miami Freight Forwarders, Miami (Finees M. Casado, managing member).
In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from ILE Global, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Victor Pezzelato, vice president of sales); Ocean Cargo Express Lines, Hardeeville, S.C. (Tamara Meadows, member); Unigroup Worldwide, Fenton, Mo. (John M. Hiles, assistant secretary); and United Van Lines International, Fenton, Mo. (John M. Hiles, assistant secretary); and for a transfer from Matson Logistics Warehousing, Concord, Calif. (Michael T. Johnson, vice president) to Matson Logistics.
