FMC reviews 15 OTI license applications

Those with objections should contact the Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 15 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Cargo Link USA, Rosemead, Calif. (Zhu Li, member); SDS Trans NJ, Palisades Park, N.J. (Taekyu “Andrew” Ahn, president); and Transcarveca U.S.A. Corp., Miami (Raul Fuenmayor, CEO).
   
The agency also received a NVO/ocean freight forwarder license application from Dynasea International Logistics, Algona, Wash. (Traci A. Fisher, member) and an ocean freight forwarder license application from AB Group Shipping Corp., Miami (Marcela A. Prado, president).
   
In addition, the FMC received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Firstrans International Co., Carson, Calif. (Juefei Li, chief operating officer); Forbis Logistics Corp., Miami (Miguel Alarcon, operations manager); Mitchell Overseas Movers, Edmonds, Wash. (Dennis E. White, secretary); Radiant Customs Services, Bellevue, Wash. (Randy Briggs, vice president of international services); Staz USA, Brea, Calif. (Hwa Young “Kenny” Yoon, secretary); and USAS Express Int’l, Inglewood, Calif. (Young I. Choi, president); for the business structure change to Trans-Jam Express Shipping from Dwight Wisdom, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Dwight Wisdom, president); and for the addition of trade names Findlay International and Relocation Services International from ARCA International, Orlando, Fla. (Richard J. Clarke, vice president); Sky World Courier Express and Fourlink Int’l USA from SNS Global Logistic, Jamaica, N.Y. (Seungjoon Oh, president); and Rakuten Super Logistics from Webgistix Corp., Las Vegas (Mary Marriott, vice president of operations).
   
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — also are available on the FMC website.
