Individuals knowing of a reason why an applicant should not receive a license should contact the Office of Transportation Intermediaries.
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 16 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Baron Worldwide, Centennial, Colo. (Shmuel H. Bassin, vice president); Seahawks Global Logistics, Milpitas, Calif. (Yu-Ling “Rita” Beckman, director); and Trans-Links 3PL, Gardena, Calif. (Wendy Wang, member).
The agency received a NVO/ocean freight forwarder license application from Citizens Global Cargo, Kenilworth, N.J. (John O. Okonkwo-Jerome, member); Click Mail Corp., Miami (Diego C. Ferreira, CEO); Elite Brokerage and Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Michael L. DeBartolo, president); Kronos Freight, Suwanee, Ga. (Sungjin Park, chief financial officer); McLane Group International, Houston (Todd E. Avery, CEO); and MSE Express America, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Robert Vietti, president).
The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Russel Marine Group-PNW, Portland, Ore. (Robert J. Carr Jr., member).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Aeromarine USA, Miami (Norman A. Patty, vice president); Blue Cargo Group, Miami (Sandy DeMaria, assistant secretary); Double Ace Cargo, Doral, Fla. (Rolgues Rodriguez, vice president); Final Mile Logistics, Atlanta (Christopher D. Dale, president); and IMC Global Solutions, Memphis, Tenn. (Mason H. George, president); and for the addition of trade name Onboard Global from Onsite Global Logistics, Houston (Herbert R. Hogg, operating manager).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — also are available on the FMC website.
