FMC reviews 16 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 16 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier applications from Complete Carriers, Albany, Ga. (Whitcomb R. Barnhill III, chief executive member); Lozistar, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. (Rack J. Chung, president); Sealand Logistics Spolka z organiczona Odpowiedzialnoscia, Gydnia, Poland (Sobieslaw Marosz, member/manager); and Transworld Cargo, Jamaica, N.Y. (Muhammad I. Bhatti, vice president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from AXIS Worldwide Supply Chain & Logistics, Chesterfield, Mo. (Chris B. Rowland, secretary); GNEC Export, Miami (Guadalupe A. Cassis, managing member); Inter Oceans Freight, Weston, Fla. (Luis M. Cabrera Daza, managing member); Manheim Global Trader, Atlanta (Francis “Frank” L. Kaliner, trade compliance officer); and Taino Express Courier Freight and Forwarding Corp., Miami (Roxana Chavarriaga, vice president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder licence applications from AMR Group, Las Vegas (Chris Ray, president); Cyclone Global Logistics, Long Beach, Calif. (Jason W. Hurrell, general manager); and Island Barrels, Chicago (Christina Horton, member).
   In addition, the agency received applications for transfers from K&K Express, Plymouth, Minn. (Deborah England, vice president of international business) to MVP Logistics; and Washington Movers, District Heights, Md. (Norma Ghanem, president) to Washington Movers International; for a name change from Baggio USA, Houston (Marco Maraschin, assistant secretary) to Baggio USA Inc.; and for the addition of trade name Seagate Container Line from Transworld Shipping (USA), Long Beach, Calif. (Bjoern Pelzer, secretary).
