FMC reviews 18 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 18 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Clover Internacional, Houston (Juan C. Castillo, special secretary); Icon Logistics Services, Laurel, Md. (Doreen Oloo-Dale, general counsel); and North American Cargo Solutions, Ontario, Canada (Stephen R. Halder, vice president).
   The agency also received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from A.I. B. Internacional, Miami (Cintia Altheman, managing member); American Guardship, Elkridge, Md. (Sylvanus Taylor, president); Dix McGuire International, Pal, Ill. (Robert E. Cleary, president); Global Distribution & Logistics, Miami (Jose L. Matus, manager); Global Vision Group, Statesville, N.C. (Edward J. Hathaway, vice president of business development); Kelvin Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Kaehong Park, president); Pine Logistics Corp., Billerica, Mass. (Leonardo P. Albuquerque, president); Sasco America, Seattle (Ralf T. Bremsner, vice president); Transmarine Shipping, Inglewood, Calif. (Shuigen Luo, president); and Universal Shippers Group USA, Morrow, Ga. (Alfred A.M. Khannu, general manager).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from American Red Ball International, Seattle (James A. Gaw, vice president); American Vanpac Carriers, Seattle (James A. Gaw, vice president); Atlas Van Lines International Corp., Seattle (James A. Gaw, vice president); and Valueway Global Logistics, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Ke Zhou, vice president); and a trade name change from Javelin Logistics Corp., Newark, Calif. (Sandra K. Thoroughman, director of international operations).
