FMC reviews 18 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 18 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier applications from Bona International, Arcadia, Calif. (Yijun Zhen, secretary); Golden Wings International Trade & Logistics, Weston, Fla. (Sascha Ibarra, president); GPS Shipping, Porter Ranch, Calif. (Shan Kung, president); and Uni-Leading Express, Katy, Texas (Li Luo, vice president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from ADP Global Logistics, Elmhurst, Ill. (James Donovan, manager); API Logistics, Tacoma, Wash. (Hyonsook Cho, manager); Brass International, Jamaica, N.Y. (Chi Chun Wang, president); E Logistics, Houston (Eric Uresti, secretary); Mellohawk Logistics USA, Doral, Fla. (Maria T. Palacios, vice president of operations); and Navy Cargo Express USA, Miami, Fla. (Myriam A. Insignares, chief executive officer).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder licence applications from Formula Global Mobility, Miami, Fla. (Paul Gelinas, vice president); and Trident Transport Group, Tigard, Ore. (Matt Loutzenhiser, manager).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Baron Worldwide, Centennial, Colo. (Shmuel H. Bassin, vice president); Expedited Logistics and Freight Services, Houston, Texas (Sylvia D. Price, vice president); Liberty International, Pawtucket, R.I. (Karen Kenney, president); Nippon Concept America, The Woodlands, Texas (Neil Elliff, special manager); Transitainer, Long Beach, Calif. (Robert Doktorczyk, vice president); and Wilhelmsen Ships Service, Pasadena, Texas (Jesse E. Garcia, customs and forwarding manager).
