The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 18 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Imperial Freight, Jamaica, N.Y. (Justin Leung, president); Jolly-B Box Express, Cerritos, Calif. (Fred Chou, chief operations officer); OG Shipping & Business, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Orrin Henderson, president); and Paclogistics, Tujunga, Calif. (John Nikoghossian, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Aerostar Global Logistics, Lombard, Ill. (Serge Bernard, president); Global Mobility Procurement Specialties, Montgomery, Texas (Michael F. Cazalet, president); Lion Transatlantic, Kearny, N.J. (Olga Palaychuk, vice president); and P.O.J. Logistic & Consultant, San Juan, Puerto Rico (Jexcenia Rivera, secretary).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Crest Container Lines, Auburn, Wash. (Terri L. Danz, director); and SR International Logistics, Denver (David O. Ross, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from American Global Logistics, Atlanta (Anthony B. Shumate, chief operating officer); Blue Water Shipping U.S., Edison, N.J. (Bonnie R. Bailey, compliance officer); Flagship Forwarding, Peabody, Mass. (Katrina L. O’Blenes, vice president); Foytt International, Compton, Calif. (Peter Tate, president); International Freight Transport, Fanwood, N.J. (Kristine E. Borden, secretary); Miller Intermodal Logistics Services, Ridgeland, Miss. (Walter M. Scott, vice president); and Yatari Express Int’l Inc., Baldwin Park, Calif. (Cheng-Lung Kuo, secretary); and for the addition of trade names Northpoint Logistics and Seawave from Northpoint Forwarding, Riverside, Mo. (Pauline Yaghianyan, manager).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
