FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Ferron’s W.I. Shipping Co., Bloomfield, Conn. (Walter L. Benjamin, managing director); JR&K Logistics, Los Angeles, Calif. (David Choi, vice president of operations); Novalink Logistics, El Monte, Calif. (Anthony K. Chien vice president); Oceanlink Global, Findlay, Ohio (J.D. Martin, president); and Xpress Logistics, Little Neck, N.Y. (Annie Chik, co-president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from BRG Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Arthur G. Robbins, president); Cagney Global Logistics, Irving, Texas (Thomas P. Davies, vice president); L.J. Rogers Logistics, Mebane, N.C. (Robert E. Crews, director of sales and operations); Pen Eve International, Castle Shannon, Pa. (James J. Moorhouse, member); and Seagull Global Logistics USA, Morristown, N.J. (Siddharth Khera, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from AC Export, Miami, Fla. (Alvaro Castillo, manager); Covan International, Midland City, Ala. (Jeffrey F. Coleman, president); and Share Logistics, Staten Island, N.Y. (Kenney Whitman, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Allstate Int’l Freight USA, Gardena, Calif. (Tony Y. Lee, secretary); Fried-Sped Logistics, Newport News, Va. (Maria F. Padilla, branch manager); Mira Transport USA, Staten Island, N.Y. (Tulay Gocer, managing director); and Pai Logis, Atlanta, Ga. (Tae Hyun Roh, chief executive officer); for a transfer to Starlink Freight System (SFO) from Apex Maritime Co., South San Francisco, Calif. (Vicky Cheung, president); and for a name change to Bollore Logistics USA from SDV (USA), Jamaica, N.Y. (Dorsey Piscatelli, vice president).
