FMC reviews 21 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 21 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 21 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from American Shipping & Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (MD M. Hossain, vice president); Boxer Freight, Greensboro, N.C. (Jeffrey O Parrett, president); Dagim Logistics & Services, Weston, Fla. (Marlene C. Sirju, president); and Sea2Sea World, Foxboro, Mass. (Soraya G. Bandeli, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from CNX America Corp., City of Industry, Calif. (Wade L. Chuang, president); Global Freight Solutions Logistics, Staten Island, N.Y. (Dovid A. Krupp, president); Herlee, Brea, Calif. (Sung J. Park, vice president of operations); ICM Cargo USA, Houston (Syed A. Zaidi, manager); Riedl North America Corp., Daphne, Ala. (John G. Mickler, president); and TSI-Trans Services International Group, Miami (Oscar J. Gonzalez, manager).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from CDS Air Freight, Dulles, Va. (Patrizia C. Whorton, vice president of ocean import/exports); Doval International, Hillsborough, N.J. (Salil Parkar, member); Global Business Link, Baltimore (Abdullah W. Alsawi, president); and TTG Shipping International, Oakland, Calif. (Mary Jane C. Centeno, vice president of sales).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from 3Plus Logistics Co., Rancho Dominguez, Calif. (Steven S. Ha, chief operating officer); Airways Freight Corp., Fayetteville, Ark. (Bradley G. Watson, executive vice president); Allstate Int’l Freight USA, Compton, Calif. (Jin Bum Jung, secretary); Exfreight Zeta, Lake Worth, Fla. (Charles Marrale, president); and PMC Maritime, Los Angeles (Moises De La Vega, president); for a license transfer to Strohschein Logistics from Cacique Trading Corp., Miami (Alexandre Strohschein, president); and for the addition of trade names Upload Cargo and Upload Logistics from Intelligent SCM, Long Beach, Calif. (Jesse Maugle, vice president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
