FMC reviews 22 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 22 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 22 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ACA International (USA), Hawthorne, Calif. (Timothy R. Stewart, vice president); Jubilee Cargo Link, Fresh Meadows, N.Y. (Fang Teng, president); and NCL International Logistics USA, Rosemead, Calif. (Arlene “AJ” J. Pasumbal, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Excommerce America, Doral, Fla. (Klaus E. Minoprio, manager); Kompass Cargo, Doral, Fla. (Rommel Briceno, manager); and Metro Customs Brokers, Rouses Point, N.Y. (John Haran, vice president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Nelmar International Services, Miami (Nelson J. Fernandez, president); and North American General Agents, Tampa, Fla. (Howard S. Posner, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Ace Relocation Systems, San Diego (Daniel Lammers, executive vice president); Amazon Maritime, Roslyn Heights, N.Y. (Frank W. Tsui, president); ARCA International, Orlando, Fla. (Christopher Hood, president); GEFCO Forwarding USA, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Tina J. Okragly, vice president); IFF, College Park, Ga. (Christian T. Halpaus, president); Inter-Jet Ocean Transport, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Tina J. Okragly, vice president); IPPCO Global Services, La Mirada, Calif. (Jay I. Gamble, president); Jet Box Cargo, Miami (Rosario D. Ponce, secretary); MH Transport, Houston (Kasey Parrish, secretary); Northpoint Forwarding, Riverside, Mo. (Diogo Lobo, member); Square Deal Shippers & Movers, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Ruby V. Wood, president); and TLI Shipping, Fulton, Md. (Wendy L. Lichtenberg, president); for a name change to Unipac Shipping from Uni-Pac Shipping, Pomona, Calif. (Jimmy Jiang, president); and for removing trade name Pisces Worldwide from Worldwide Logistics Partners, Crystal Lake, Ill. (Mitesh Kamdar, president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
