FMC reviews 24 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 24 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 24 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ICNT Logistics, Brossard, Calif. (Jiaping Cong, director); MJS Executive Enterprises, Carlsbad, Calif. (Michael J. Stevenson, president); MTR Express, San Bruno, Calif. (Kin Keong “Ken” Tam, president); Oceanpac International, City of Industry, Calif. (Yuwei Chen, chairman); and QEC Worldwide, Jamaica, N.Y. (Steve Chan, vice president).
   The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Alliance Transport Logistics USA, Medley, Fla. (Ana M. Hernandez, secretary); Jacaju Cargo USA, San Pedro, Calif. (Duane T. Murphy, secretary); Krysten International, Little Neck, N.Y. (Min Zheng, president); Merc Logistics Group, Miami, Fla. (Orlando R. Jimenez, secretary); N&A Export & Import, Miami, Fla. (Alexander Nolasco Martinez, director of operations); and Sozo International, Upland, Calif. (Jennifer Chen, chief executive officer).
   In addition, the FMC received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from FedEx Trade Networks Transport & Brokerage, Buffalo, N.Y. (Jerry L. Storey Jr., assistant treasurer); Harbour International, Batavia, Ill. (Robert C. Masterson Jr., president); Horizon International Cargo, Hawthorne, Calif. (Tara Villalva, assistant secretary); International Cargo Enterprises, Miami, Fla. (Monica Merck, secretary); Loomis International (US), Inwood, N.Y. (Jose S. De Rosa, president); Menuet Maritime Services, Houston, Texas (Suzanne Menuet, director); Mitsui-Soko (U.S.A.), Carson, Calif. (Takashi Sakamoto, president); M.O.T. Intermodal Shipping USA, Rochester, N.Y. (Christina E. Fusco, vice president of freight operations); T&N Logistics Corp., Miami, Fla. (Maria F. Velasquez Alvarez, president); Tradewings USA Corp., Miami, Fla. (Carrie A. Taylor, secretary); Ultra Air Cargo, Gardena, Calif. (Darren Pao, secretary); and Wen-Parker Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Darin Makepeace, vice president of operations); and for the removal of trade names GCA and Global Consolidators Alliance, from CaroTrans International, Union, N.J.

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
