FMC reviews 28 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 28 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ASC Miami Corp., Miami (Maria D. Torres, president); Latin American Exporters, Doral, Fla. (Yessenia M. Litardo, vice president); Omega Relocations, Hialeah, Fla. (Eyal Aviani, vice president); Stella Maris International Trading, Tampa, Fla. (Fernando Perez, vice president); Wiz Freight Corp., Miami (Renato F. Ferretti, president); and Xperts Logistics, Miami (Jerry Y. Lopez-Leon, president).

   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from Allato Business International, Miami (Sergio Bobadilla, president); AV Logistics, Orange Park, Fla. (Michael Bifulco, vice president of operations); Crowley Caribbean Logistics, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico (John G. Smith, OTI compliance officer); D&J Cargo, Miami (Oscar D. Matus, operations officer); F.H.L. Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Laura Leal-Ramos, vice president); MSC Expeditor, Jamaica, N.Y. (Chang Yu Chu, president); P2 Logistics, Cerritos, Calif. (Michael Park, chief executive officer); Total Caribbean Logistics, San Juan, Puerto Rico (Kurt W. Terhar, sole member); and We International, Dublin, Calif. (Paul A. Slemmons, vice president).

   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Arabian Global Logistics, Houston (Fakher M. Nawar, president); Midwest International Shipping, Chicago (Shlomo Rimer, vice president); Port Alliance Logistics International, Garden City, N.Y. (Shawn Mak, treasurer); and Trans-Aero-Mar, Miami (Luis G. Rangel, president).

   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from HYC Logistics, Memphis, Tenn. (Tanya M. DePriest, vice president of export operations); ICT International Cargo Transport (USA), North Olmsted, Ohio (Suzanne M. Javorsky, vice president); Leschaco, Jersey City, N.J. (Mark C. Malambri, president); and Toshiba Logistics America, Irvine, Calif. (Katsuhiro Kume, assistant secretary); and for trade name changes from BBC Freight Line, Commerce, Calif. (Douglas K. Garcia, secretary); FPS Logistics (USA), Gardena, Calif. (Anna W. Liu, vice president); North Star Container, Edina, Minn. (Shawn D. Steen, assistant vice president); Shinewell Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Hseanrus 'Stephen' H. Lin, president); and Widelane Global Logistics, Rosedale, N.Y. (William Poung, president).
