FMC reviews 29 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 29 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Ag Source, Heathrow, Fla. (Joseph S. Dowd, manager); Best 4 Shipping, Jamaica, N.Y. (Omolara Omotosho, president); Landseair, Century City, Calif. (Stacy Ong, president); and UQI Shipping, Monterey Park, Calif. (Qihua Wu, chief executive officer).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Lever Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Nafiz Akca, member); Master Maritime, Hudson, Wis. (Lawrence “Larry” E. Garaghty, manager); and Seemann Y Cia Ltda USA Corp., Miami (Pablo M. Rodriguez, director).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Coco’s International Movers, Miami (Macarena L. Scalia, president); CNG Logistics, Purchase, N.Y. (Simon Preisler, director of logistics); Compass Air-Sea Services, Houston (Ian Sanders-Park, manager); and JP Link, Little Neck, N.Y. (James C. Park, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Global Business Link, Baltimore (Abudllah W. Alwasi, president); Goodnight International, Jacksonville, Fla. (Mary J. Mackey, president); HNM Enterprises, Orlando, Fla. (Tony L. McGee, manager); Magnum-Ramstr Cargo, Edison, N.J. (Dilip Ram, president); Mishi International, Doral, Fla. (Acela A. Zorrilla Aguila, director); Paramount Transportation Logistics Services, Ft. Myers, Fla. (Joyce A. Frase, director of maritime operations); Procargo Express, Jamaica, N.Y. (Hyun Joong “Brian” Song, president); Seafair International Logistics, Monterey Park, Calif.
