FMC reviews 31 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 31 license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from A&M Ocean Machinery, Miami (Alexandra Parra, vice president); Amass International Group, Jamaica, N.Y. (Jia 'James' H. Bai, director); Blaser & Mericle, Cleveland (George Vislosky Jr., president); Foothills Logistics, Charlotte, N.C. (William A. Pottow, vice president); Freight Pro Logistics, St. Louis (Stevie C. Chan, secretary); Globaltransol, Kingston, N.Y. (Eric K. Gnakadja, president); Green Cargo, Miami Beach, Fla. (Patricia Kokaly, manager); LJ International Freight Corp., Dix Hills, N.Y. (Danny D. Choi, president); and Transatlantic Products and Shipping Services, Atlanta (Jimmy Scott, secretary).

   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from ADM Logistics, Decatur, Ill. (Craig E. Huss, director); Ameritrans Freight International (USA), Germantown, Md. (Anthony N. Mwangi, member); Den Helder, Bayonne, N.J. (Salil Parkar, director); Golden Padlock, City of Industry, Calif. (Zhong 'Simon' M. Huang, member); Harvest Shipping, La Puente, Calif. (Peggy P. Shiu, president); Keryx Logistics Corp., Miami (Angela Duran, president); Mike Mohsen Darabi, San Jose, Calif. (Mike M. Darabi, sole proprietor); Rapid Express I Corp., Doral, Fla. (Rene Parajon, vice president); T.V.L. Global Logistics Corp., El Monte, Calif. (Karen C. Luc, president); and VMA Global Logistics, San Juan, Puerto Rico (Migda E. Luciano, treasurer).

   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Global Shipping & Freight International, Tampa, Fla. (Wissam Bahloul, president); Kinetix International Logistics, Alexandria, Va. (Shayne L. Berlo, executive vice president); Miami Warehouse Logistics, Miami (Alexis Roldos, president); Seven Seas Shipping, Trevose, Pa. (Mona M. Eitagi, secretary); W&L International Express, Glendale Heights, Ill. (Long Wang, president); and World Logistics USA, Allentown, N.J. (Wladyslaw Kopec, president).

   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Specialized Overseas Shipping, Detroit (Ali Kain, president); and Transmate Logistics Corp., Gardena, Calif. (Min H. Park, director); for trade name changes from ATC Logistics, Parmount, Calif. (Paul Kang, president); and Delmar International, Jamaica, N.Y. (Ricky K. Ho, vice president); and for business structure changes from Express Forwarding, Wilmington, Calif. (Teresa Huang, president); and Mode Transportation, Dallas (Michael F. Hampel, vice president for international operations).
