FMC reviews 33 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 33 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 33 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Ayalex, Lorton, Va. (Alexandre T. Ayanou, manager); GVE Freight & Logistics, Bellflower, Calif. (Manoel C. Vieira, member); MKFreight International Logistics, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Min Zhu, director); Sentry Cargo International, Medley, Fla. (Eduardo Del Pozo, president); and North Atlantic Cargo Line, Virginia Beach, Va. (Olafur G. Matthiasson, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Bobwin, Huntington Beach, Calif. (Bo Yu, chief executive officer); Hana Freight, Lake Hiawatha, N.J. (Kenneth Kim, member); NH Services, Chatworth, Calif. (Julissa Rodriguez, secretary); Tranco Global, Chattanooga, Tenn. (Bradley S. Kemp, member); Carelog Freight Service, Providence, R.I. (Soren L. Jensen, vice president); Global Trade Link, Staten Island, N.Y. (Roman Chernin, president); Lansar Freight Shipping Corp., Bronx, N.Y. (Abdou Guene, president); Swiftpac Logistics, Miami (Eric E. Diaz, director); Tauri International Corp., Doral, Fla. (Renata F. Machado, president); and Western Express Forwarding, Upper Marlboro, Md. (Christos V. Georgakopoulos, member).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from L&A Shipping, Jamaica, N.Y. (Abdulaye S. Bah, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from A Active Freezone Cargo, Flushing, N.Y. (Davie Tsui, operation manager); Amcar Freight, Miami (Ricardo J. Valdes, president); Arnold Moving Co., Louisville, Ky. (Greg Lee Hoover, president); Cartainer Ocean Line, Linden, N.J. (Michael V. Lewis, secretary); International Forwarders, Charleston, S.C. (Wallace Hester, vice president); Global Shipping Solutions, East Northport, N.Y. (Frank Mariconda, president); International Transportation Corp., Hicksville, N.Y. (Alex Schapowal, president); Matus International, Long Beach, Calif. (Allan J. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
