The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received six ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Ma International Services, Jamaica, N.Y. (Rick C.Y. Ma, president); and a NVO/ocean freight forwarder license application from Modern Logistics Services, Miami (Nello P. Khan, president).
The agency also received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Intelligent SCM, Long Beach, Calif. (Jeffrey W. Schumacker, vice president); and Transglobal Logistics, Piscataway, N.J. (Devinda A. Molligoda, secretary); for the addition of trade name Paxton International from Paxton Van Lines, Springfield, Va. (Fred D. Paxton II, president); and for a business structure change to DMT Global Logistics from Daisy Mae Concepcion Viva Taleon, Orange, Calif. (Daisy V. Taleon, managing member).
