FMC reviews 8 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received eight license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Titan International Shipping, Coral Springs, Fla. (Roberto G. Durand, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from DI Global Logistics, Miami (Johan Arenas, vice president); Exclusive Global Logistics, San Diego (Hwa Y. Yoon, chief financial officer); Sippi Logistics, Inglewood, Calif. (Musarat Izhar, president); and Star Freight Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Edivaldo Rezende, member).
The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from KJW-CHB, Bensenville, Ill. (Keh J. Wu, president).
In addition, the agency received applications for a change to a qualifying individual from Rapid Cargo & Logistics, Gardner, Calif. (Richard Y. Hong, president); and for the addition of a trade name from Acco Foreign Shipping, Doral, Fla. (Ali A. Germi, president) to include Acco Terramar.
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC Website.
