The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received nine ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received nine ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from MAC Logistics & Services, Doral, Fla. (Richard A. Pacheco, manager).
The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Sims Global Solutions, Flower Mound, Texas (Jacob Culbertson, chief operating officer); and TLA Logistics Corp., Miami (Luis A. Cantuarias, chief operating officer).
In addition, the FMC received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from ASF, Mobile, Ala. (Steven D. Chard, CEO); Cargo Net USA, Miami (Cecilia H. Fuentes, manager); and Dynasty Shipping, Inglewood, Calif. (Mike S. Liu, secretary); for the addition of trade names SLM Logistics from Infinity Trans (Lax), City of Industry, Calif. (Guan-Shi “Roy” Ng, vice president) and Rakuten Super Logistics from Webgistix Corp., Las Vegas (Mary Marriott, vice president of operations); and for a license transfer to Logistical Resources from Logistical Corp., Woodbridge, N.J. (Mubashar Butt, president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
