FMC reviews 9 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received nine license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Atlapacific Trading, Arlington, Texas (Omar Kolaghassi, manager); CALS Logistics USA, Bensenville, Ill. (Szuyao Liu, customer service officer); O.P. Premium Star Logistics, Bakersfield, Calif. (Otto Petgrave, manager); and World Freight Solutions, Mobile, Ala. (Rhonda Hofman, president).

   The agency also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Movendo Caribe, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico (Margarita G. Casseres, president).

   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from A&A Contract Customs Brokers USA, Blaine, Wash. (Isabelle Rucker, vice president); Excel Cargo Services, Greensboro, N.C. (Don Milligan, vice president); and Summit Logistics, Carteret, N.J. (Myles O'Brien, chief executive officer; and a license transfer application from Empire Global Lines, Fair Lawn, N.J. (Uri Cohen, president).
