FMC REVIEWS EIGHT OTI LICENSE APPLICATIONS

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received eight ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.

   The agency received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Pacific Atlantic Lines in Fort Lee, N.J., Netanel Gonen, president.

   The FMC also received four NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from United Aline Services in Great Neck, N.Y., Gao Yunyan, president; Merco International of Miami, Ricardo Olascoaga, director; Leonardi & Co USA in Rosedale, N.Y., Italo Leonardi, president; and Chicago International Forwarders in Wood Dale, Ill., Janette Nham, president.

   In addition, the agency received ocean freight forwarder license applications from MBC Brokers of Hawthorne, Calif., John Hanson, president; One Bin.Com in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Leon Williams, vice president; and Deans International Shipping Co. in Laurelton, N.Y., Sharon Deans, president.
