Freeborn & Peters forms transportation team

   Chicago-based law firm Freeborn & Peters LLP has formed a transportation team.
   The industry-focused group will address the legal needs of companies across the transportation sector, particularly those in the trucking, railroad, logistics and intermodal segments.
   The team, which includes 13 attorneys, will be led by Cindy Bergmann, a partner in the firm’s business law and real estate and land-use groups.

Chris Gillis

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
