Maersk Line has announced an increase in FAK rates from:
• Asia to the West Coast of Central and South America, Mexico, Panama and the Caribbean effective Dec. 1 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 11.
• Asia to the Mediterranean effective Dec. 1 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 14.
• The Far East to the East Coast of South America effective Dec. 1 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 14.
• The Far East to North Europe effective Dec. 1 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 14.
• Europe to Middle America, the Caribbean and the West Coast of South America effective Dec. 1 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
• Asia to New Zealand effective Dec. 15 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
• Asia to Australia effective Dec. 15 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
• West and Central Asia to Colombia effective Dec. 15 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
• Far East Asia to South Africa (including Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana) effective Dec. 15 until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
• Far East Asia to the U.S. and Canada effective Dec. 15.
MSC announced new rates from Europe to Asia and the Middle East (Gulf) for non-hazardous, non-scrap, FAK cargo until further notice, but not beyond Dec. 31.
CMA CGM announced new FAK rates from:
• All Asian main ports to all Mediterranean main ports effective Dec. 1 until further notice.
• All Asian ports (including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh) to all Northern European ports (including the United Kingdom and the full range from Finland/Estonia) for dry cargo, OOG, paying empties, breakbulk and reefer cargo effective Dec. 1 until further notice.
• All Asian main ports to all North African main ports effective Dec. 1 until further notice.
Hapag-Lloyd announced increased FAK rates from:
• The North Continent and the Mediterranean to East Asia for all non-DG cargo for standard container types effective Dec. 1 until further notice.
• East Asia to the North Continent and the Mediterranean for all non-DG cargo for standard container types effective Dec. 1 until further notice.
Hapag-Lloyd also issued a rate restoration from North, South and Central China to the Arabian Gulf for all cargo and container types effective Dec. 1. Rates will increase by $200 per TEU.
In addition, Hapag-Lloyd announced a rate restoration from Northeast Asia to Australia for all cargo and container types effective Dec. 21. Rates will increase by $300 per TEU.
OOCL announced a rate restoration program from the Far East (excluding Japan) to North Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea effective Dec. 1. Rates will increase by $850 per TEU.
