    According to C.H. Robinson’s own press release, only about 2,000 active customers, representing a mere 2.2% of their estimated 90,000 customer base, are currently using GenAI for quote requests. This suggests a nascent technology rather than a widely adopted solution.

    Furthermore, the article omits crucial metrics to assess GenAI’s effectiveness. We don’t know:

    Customer Acceptance Rate: What percentage of AI-generated quotes are actually accepted by customers?
    Quote Accuracy: How precise are the quotes generated by GenAI? Are they competitive and reliable?
    These missing details raise concerns about the technology’s true value.

    For a more complete picture, editors should request C.H. Robinson to provide data on customer acceptance rates, quote accuracy, and the impact on operational efficiency. This would allow for a more informed evaluation of GenAI’s role in the company’s future.
