Severe thunderstorms possible out west and along the Gulf Coast: Severe storms will hit the southern part of Texas, as well as from Jackson, Mississippi, to New Orleans. Tornadoes could also pop-up in some spots. Out west, from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Great Falls, Montana there is the potential for strong winds, hail and flash flooding.
Occasional wet conditions in Little Rock, Arkansas: Watch out for wet roads and ongoing flooding along the Arkansas River.
Interstates remain closed due to ongoing flooding: Several sections of I-29 in both directions, from St. Joseph, Missouri, through western Iowa remain closed. A few sections of I-680 from Omaha, Nebraska into western Iowa also remain closed.
