Fullen Dock starts stone shipping division
Fullen Dock and Warehouse has started a stone shipping division that will cater to construction projects in the Mid-South region.
The intermodal river terminal is located at mile 740 on the Lower Mississippi River. The port has traditionally supplied a variety of aggregate, such as roadbase, limestone, concrete aggregate, rip rap, agricultural limestone, fill sand and asphalt rock. Inventory levels are generally maintained at more than 100,000 tons.
“Our geographic location on the Mississippi River, access to a number of rail lines and major highways allows us to receive and ship product via multiple modes of transportation,” said Lanny Chalk, terminal manager, in a statement. The new division is called Fullen Stone.
