Alliance members added new port calls to their CC2 and SC1 services between Asia and West Coast North America.
Members of the G6 Alliance – ocean carriers APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line – announced changes to their transpacific CC2 and SC1 services.
The CC2 is adding a call at Pusan with the June 28 sailing of the OOCL Kuala Lumpur from Ningbo. The revised port rotation of the CC2 will be Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Long Beach and Ningbo.
The SC1 is adding a call at Kaohsiung with the July 1 sailing of the APL Houston from Xiamen. The revised port rotation of the SC1 will be Xiamen, Chiwan, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles, Oakland, Kaohsiung and Xiamen.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, the G6 Alliance operates seven other services strictly between Asia and the West Coast of North America – the CC1, CC4, SC2, SE2, NP2, NP3 and NP1.
