Ga. approves additional $35M for Savannah deepening

   Georgia’s state legislature has approved Gov. Nathan Deal’s proposal for $35 million in additional dredging funds for the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project. Georgia has now allocated $266 million, meeting the state’s portion for the project.
