GEODIS ACQUIRES DUTCH LOGISTICS COMPANY
The French logistics and transport group Geodis has acquired
Vitesse, a Dutch logistics company.
Vitesse has five warehouses covering a total of 125,000 square meters
and is involved in freight forwarding, transport and container handling.
Employing a workforce of about 500 employees, Vitesse had sales of 114
million euro ($120 million) in 1998, with major customers in the retail, pharmaceutical
and electronic industries.
