GEOLOGISTICS, NORWEGIAN PARTNER SIGN CONTRACT WITH ELTEK ENERGY
GeoLogistics U.K. and its Norwegian strategic partner, Norsk Sea and Air Services A.S., have signed a three-year contract to provide distribution services in the Far East and Europe for Eltek Energy.
The contract with Eltek, a designer and supplier of power systems for the telecommunications industry, has an estimated turnover of $3.5 million per year. The deal could be expanded to include further involvement in North America and Latin America.
GeoLogistics has dedicated 10,000 square feet of its Hong Kong warehouse to act as a fulfillment center for Eltek. The center will receive parts from China and warehouse them for eventual distribution by air, ocean and road throughout Asia and into Europe.
In Europe, GeoLogistics and Norsk will import parts and complete sub-units from the Far East and Europe to the assembly and distribution centers in Hemel Hempstead and Drammen, Norway.
