Global Link expands in China through local forwarder agreement
Georgia-based non-vessel-operating common carrier Global Link Logistics said Friday it has partnered with a Chinese forwarder, M+R Forwarding, and will merge their two operations in China.
Global Link, which specializes in the transpacific furniture trade, will see its footprint in China expand from three to 13 offices. The partnership will also allow Global Link to expand its signature service FLEX, or Furniture Less than container EXpress, to Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian, Ningbo and Xiamen, as well as add warehouse space in seven new cities.
