The logistics service provider Globe Express Services said Wednesday it has recently opened a roughly $10 million industrial warehouse and office complex in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The 67,449-square-foot warehouse has six loading doors and space for 4,780 pallets.
“Our investments to build the Jebel Ali warehouse and office facility is a major step to serve our customers better and offer a much wider variety of supply chain solutions,” said Ziad Korban, chief executive officer, Globe Express Services (Overseas Group). “The warehouse is strategically positioned with its roadside location and an expansive yard that provides excellent external circulation.”
Services offered at the Jebel Ali complex include container loading and unloading, short-term and long-term storage, consolidation, transloading, crating, and packing, as well as full service solutions for dry cargo, heavy equipment teardowns and equipment dismantling, safe rooms for storage of high-value goods and hallmarking services, on-site packing for oversized, sensitive or heavy cargo, and roll-on/roll-off equipment.
