Green Fleet expands cloud to WMS

Green Fleet Systems and Logfire have expanded their partnership to develop new business operations and a broader scope of services, eventually creating new jobs and improving energy efficiency in logistics.
Green Fleet, a logistics service provider (LSP) focused on clean/green technology, has expanded its geographic presence and services with the implementation of new cloud-based supply chain service from LogFire.
LogFire, a cloud-based SaaS (software-as-a-service) supply chain solutions company, said Green Fleet will use the LogFire warehouse management service (WMS) to offer its customers new products beyond traditional drayage and carrier services.
“We are pleased to now be able to offer our customers complete systems capabilities for not only drayage management, with our Trinium System, but also for those under-roof activities such as inventory control, order management, EDI communication, complete visibility and reporting,” said Dennis Cravens, executive director of Green Fleet.
Cravens said the go-live for the LogFire WMS took less than six weeks.
