Maersk Line will increase rates from Far East Asia (excluding Japan) to the Mediterranean (excluding Syria) effective Dec. 1. Rates will increase by $1,000 per TEU; and $2,000 per forty-foot container (FEU), 40-foot high cube container and 45-foot high cube for dry and reefer containers.
The Danish carrier will also increase rates from Far East Asia (excluding Japan) to Syria effective Dec. 1. Rates will increase by 900 Euros per TEU; and $1,800 Euros per FEU, 40-foot high cube container and 45-foot high cube for dry and reefer containers.
Wan Hai will increase rates to all U.S. West Coast destinations for all container types effective Dec. 5. Rates will increase by $480 per TEU, $600 per FEU, $675 per 40-foot high cube container, $675 per 40-foot reefer container and $760 per 45-foot container.
