Maersk Line will increase rates from:
• Far East Asia to North America effective Oct. 1. Rates will increase by $1,200 per TEU, $1,500 per FEU, $1,500 per 40-foot high cube, and $1,905 per 45-foot high cube for dry cargo.
• India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Yemen to the United States and Canada effective Oct. 1. Rates will increase by $975 per TEU, $1,200 per FEU, $1,200 per 40-foot high cube, and $1,500 per 45-foot high cube for dry and reefer cargo.
• North America to Far East Asia effective Nov. 1. Rates will increase by $160 per TEU, $200 per FEU, $200 per 40-foot high cube, and $254 per 45-foot high cube for dry cargo.
Maersk Line is also issuing increased “Freight All Kinds (FAK)” rates from the East Coast of South America to Europe Oct. 1, Europe to West Africa Oct. 1, Europe to the East Coast of South America Oct. 1, North Europe to the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Oct. 1, and North America to Far East Asia Nov. 1.
CMA CGM will increase rates from the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East Gulf to West Africa for all cargo effective Oct. 15. Rates will increase by $300 per TEU and $600 per FEU.
Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates from:
• The United States via East, Gulf and West Coast ports to Australia and New Zealand for all cargo and container types effective Oct. 15. Rates will increase by $200 per 20-foot container and $400 per 40-foot container.
• Northeast Asia to Australia for all cargo and container types effective Oct. 15. Rates will increase by $500 per TEU.
• East Asia to Mexico, the West Coast of Central America and the West Coast of South America for all cargo and container types effective Oct. 15. Rates will increase by $500 per 20-foot container and $1,000 per 40-foot container.
• East Asia to the Caribbean, East Coast of Central America, Panama, Gulf of Mexico and Progreso for all cargo and container types effective Oct. 15. Rates will increase by $1,050 per 20-foot container and $1,500 per 40-foot container.
Hapag-Lloyd also announced an increased FAK rate for all cargo and standard container types from East Asia and Japan to North Europe, West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa effective Oct. 1.
