Maersk Line is increase rates from:
• The Mediterranean (excluding Syria) to the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $150 per TEU, FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by $150 per TEU and 40-foot high cube containers.
• Syria to the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by 131 euros per TEU, FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by 131 euros per TEU and 40-foot high cube containers.
• China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Taiwan to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Panama, and Colombia (Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Cartagena) effective June 15. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $1,050 per TEU; and $1,500 per FEU and 40-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by $1,500 per FEU and 40-foot high cube container. Rates will also increase by $1,500 per 40-foot non-operating reefer containers.
• The same abovementioned Asian ports to Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Colombia (Buenaventura) effective June 15. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $750 per TEU; and $1,500 per FEU and 40-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by $1,500 per FEU and 40-foot high cube containers. Rates will also increase by $1,500 per 40-foot non-operating reefer containers.
• China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $750 per TEU; and $1,000 per FEU and 40-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by $1,000 per FEU and 40-foot high cube containers. Rates will also increase by $1,000 per 40-foot non-operating reefer containers.
• The Mediterranean (excluding Syria) to Far East Asia effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $75 per TEU; and $100 per FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers.
• Syria to Far East Asia effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by 66 euros per TEU; and 88 euros per FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers.
• Far East Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe effective June 1. For dry cargo, rates will increase by $500 per TEU; and $1,000 per FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers. For reefer cargo, rates will increase by $500 per TEU; and $1,000 per FEU, 40-foot high cube and 45-foot high cube containers. Rates will increase by the same amount again on June 15.
• Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia effective June 1. Rates will increase by $200 per TEU, FEU and 40-foot high cube containers.
CMA CGM will increase rates from the East Coast of South America to Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and the West Coast of India for all cargo effective June 1. Rates will increase by $200 per TEU and $300 per FEU.
The French carrier will also increase rates from Asia (including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh) to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania for all cargo effective June 1. Rates will increase by $150 per TEU and $300 per FEU.
Yesterday, CMA CGM increased rates from all Asian ports to Pakistan, the West Coast of India and Sri Lanka for all cargo. Rates increased by $150 per TEU.
Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates from East Asia to the East Coast of South America for all cargo and container types effective June 1. Rates will increase by $750 per TEU.
The German carrier is also increase its “Freight All Kinds” rate on the Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean effective June 1. Rates will increase by $1,075 per TEU container, $2,050 per FEU container and $2,100 per 40-foot high cube container.
Hapag-Lloyd will also increase rates from East Asia (excluding Japan) to all North Europe and Mediterranean destinations for all cargo and container types effective June 15. Rates will increase by $500 per TEU container and $1,000 per FEU container.
MOL will increase rates from Asia (including the Indian Subcontinent) to the East Coast of South America effective June 1. Rates will increase by $750 per TEU and $1,500 per FEU for dry containers; and $750 per 40-foot RAD (NOR) containers.
“K” Line will increase rates from Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean effective June 1 by $1,000 per TEU and $2,000 per FEU.
Meanwhile, OOCL plans to increase rates from the Far East (excluding Japan) to North Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea effective June 1. Rates will increase by $850 per TEU.
NYK issued a rate increase from Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean effective June 18 by $530 per TEU.
