H.K. LINER SHIPPING ASSOCIATION TO APPOINT NEW CHAIRMAN
The Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association, a group representing liner agents and container shipping lines, said that it will appoint a new chairman following the departure of current chairman Ulrik Brandt.
A spokesman for the association said that the appointment will be discussed during the next meeting of the association.
The Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association represents 33 shipping lines and agents in Hong Kong, including APL, Barwil, Ben Line Agencies, China Merchants, China Ocean Shipping Co., Cho Yang, CMA CGM, Delmas, Dong Woo, Evergreen, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai, Jardine Shipping, Jebsen, “K” Line, Maersk Sealand, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, NYK, Pacific International Lines, P&O Nedlloyd, OOCL, Swire, Wan Hai, Yangming and Zim.
