HANJIN LOGISTICS JOINS IAS’S INTERBOX

HANJIN LOGISTICS JOINS IAS’S INTERBOX

Hanjin Logistics, the Chicago-based division of ocean carrier Hanjin Shipping, is the latest stack train operator to use International Asset Systems’ InterBox intermodal reservation system to make domestic containers available to its North American customers.

Hanjin Logistics’ domestic container users — primarily intermodal marketing companies — can view and book Hanjin Logistics’ inventories online, at any time.

On InterBox, stacktrain operators and shipping lines can electronically post their container inventories, by equipment type, that become available as U.S. inland and port locations. When an IMC books a box, a booking number is automatically generated for each container transacted, which is electronically transmitted to the carrier/operator, the IMC and the facility holding the container.
