The St. Joseph, Mich.-based temperature-controlled supply chain services provider’s ninth deep frozen warehouse will be located in South Haven, Mich.
Hanson Logistics unveiled its plans to construct the South Haven Logistics Center, which will be a temperature-controlled facility in South Haven, Mich, the company said.
The center will be located on 25 acres in the I-196 Industrial Park adjacent to the MBG Marketing’s processing facility, which will allow Hanson Logistics to quick-freeze fresh blueberries and cherries.
Phase one of the project will consist of 150,000 square feet and is expected to be completed in May 2017. An additional 15 acres are available, which the logistics company plans to use for the second and third phases.
The South Haven Logistics Center will be Hanson Logistics’ ninth deep frozen warehouse and sixth deep frozen warehouse in Michigan.
