The ocean carrier is scheduled to become a slot-taker on the French line’s service between U.S. and Mexico Gulf Coast ports, Colombia and Jamaica.
Ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd announced it will become a slot-taker on CMA CGM’s Gulf Bridge Express service with the June 10 sailing of the Frisia Loga from New Orleans. Hapag-Lloyd will call this service the GC2.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, Chilean carrier CSAV, which was recently purchased by Hapag-Lloyd, and subsidiary line Libra-Montemar left this service in April.
The Gulf Bridge Express currently operates with three vessels provided by CMA CGM with an average capacity of 2,573 TEUs. The port rotation of the service is New Orleans, Houston, Altamira, Veracruz, Cartagena (Colombia), Kingston, and New Orleans.
