Supply chain management solutions provider’s TrueCommerce EDI Solutions group automates integration of key warehouse documents with SAP’s small business software.
The supply chain management software provider HighJump said Monday its TrueCommerce EDI Solutions group now offers integrated warehouse and 3PL support with its EDI solution for users of SAP Business One small business management software.
The solution includes integrated transactions for two key warehouse documents: outbound warehouse shipping order (940), which can be processed automatically from a sales order in SAP Business One, including automatic updating of lot numbers and serial numbers; and inbound warehouse shipping advice (945), which can automatically create a delivery in SAP Business One, including the package details and UCC-128 label details.
The integrated warehouse shipping advice can also be used to automatically develop the advance ship notice, giving users the ability to immediately send notifications to their customers.
The integration of warehouse transactions with SAP Business One is designed to make order fulfillment faster and more accurate by eliminating the need to print or re-enter data. It also saves time by automating communications with warehouses or 3PLs, HighJump said in a statement.
