Hoegh Autoliners has signed a 10-year contract to call at Port Freeport in Texas.

   Hoegh Autoliners has signed a 10-year contract to call at Port Freeport in Texas.
   The new service will add about 50 stevedoring jobs. In addition, another 60 jobs will be created by the establishment of an automobile processing facility at Port Freeport, the port authority said.
   “Hoegh Autoliners represents the second global ocean carrier to commit to Port Freeport in the last six months,” said Executive Port Director Glenn Carlson in a statement.
   Mediterranean Shipping Co. signed a contract with the port last October.
