Homer Logistics secures $8.5m in Series A funding

The New York-based provider of local delivery fulfillment solutions for businesses has raised a total of $14.5 million in finding since 2015.

   New York-based Homer Logistics, a provider of local delivery fulfillment solutions for businesses, has secured $8.5 million in Series A funding, the company said in a statement.
   Homer Logistics said it will use the funding “to expand its research capabilities and technical team to further improve its ability to drive operational efficiencies for its customers.”
   The funding round was led by Two Sigma Ventures, with Lerer Hippeau Ventures, RSE Ventures and Laconia Capital Group participating, among others.
   Since 2015, Homer Logistics has raised a total of $14.5 million in funding.
