Honolulu Freight Service buys City Wide Transportation
Honolulu Freight Service has acquired Hawaiian transportation and warehouse services provider City Wide Transportation.
Honolulu Freight Service, founded in 1936, provides refrigerated cargo freight forwarding services to and from the Hawaiian Islands and the U.S. mainland. City Wide started operations in 1973 and provides intra- and inter-island transport and warehouse services.
Honolulu Freight Service president Mike Beidleman said the acquisition “extends our complete logistics, transportation, distribution and warehousing services into one entity to serve all our island and mainland customers with a single source.”
