Hutchinson Ports signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ukrainian Government for the development of Chornomorsk Port, the global terminal operator said.
Volodymyr Omelyan, the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure, said the government is committed to finalizing the agreement and closing the deal in 2017.
Situated along the Black Sea in southwestern Ukraine, Chornomorsk Port handles containers, ferries, general cargo and bulk cargo.
