Hub Group names Mark Yeager president, COO
Hub Group Inc., a non-asset-based freight management company based in Downers Grove, Ill., has appointed Mark A. Yeager president and chief operating officer.
Yeager, who will have responsibility for sales, intermodal operations and Hub's highway and logistics division, succeeds Thomas L. Hardin, who has been named president for rail affairs.
Yeager was Hub's president of field operations. Hardin had been president of Hub Group.
Phillip C. Yeager, chairman of Hub Group and Mark Yeager's father, said the company had made the shift so that Hardin could devote all of his time 'to ongoing strategic negotiations required to ensure that Hub Group has the required service options and equipment for its customers, especially during this time of tight capacity.'
