Hub Group, Inc.’s net income rose 11.9 percent year-over-year to $20.7 million in the second quarter of 2016, according to the company’s most recent financial statements.
The transportation management company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter totaled $0.61 per share, compared to $0.51 per share for the second quarter of 2015.
Meanwhile, revenues fell 4.9 percent year-over-year to $856 million, primarily due to lower fuel revenues.
