HYUNDAI PULLS OUT OF EUROPE/AUSTRALIA TRADE
Hyundai Merchant Marine has ended its transshipment service from northern Europe to Australia and effectively pulled out of the trade.
The Korean carrier had used its Europe/Asia vessels to carry cargoes bound for or originating from Australia and transshipped the containers in Singapore.
Hyundai said it ended the service because of changed requirements for its Europe/Asia service.
