IAG Cargo has opened a pharmaceutical facility at London Heathrow Airport, expanding further its Constant Climate service.
The warehouse can store goods at ranges between 2 degrees Celsius and 8 degrees Celsius, or between 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.
“This new facility underpins just how important the pharmaceutical market is to IAG Cargo’s growth strategy,” IAG Cargo’s Steve Gunning said in a statement. “The Heathrow Constant Climate Center lies at the heart of one of the largest temperature-controlled cargo networks in the world and will be a huge benefit to global pharmaceutical companies as they look for efficient routes to market.”
