IANA RELEASES INTERMODAL EQUIPMENT VIDEO
The Intermodal Association of North America, and the Institute of International Container Lessors have released a new intermodal equipment inspection video.
Best Practices for Inspecting Intermodal Equipment addresses issues of equipment roadability through suggested inspection techniques that can be used as a guide by drivers, mechanics, or any other parties responsible for inspecting intermodal trailers, chassis, and containers on chassis.
“This is the first industry-produced video that specifically addresses the process of inspecting intermodal equipment,” said Joni Casey, president of IANA. The video was produced under the leadership of IANA’s maintenance and repair committee, in conjunction with the IICL and a joint task force of industry representatives.
